Learn Play & Beyond

Kindergarten Daily Routine

 

6:00 – 7:00     Arrival in the Toddler Room.  Free play.  Move to own room.

7:00 – 7:15     Wash hands and bathroom time

7:15 – 7:45     Breakfast

7:45 – 8:15     Clean up, wash hands, bathroom time and getting ready for bus and depart centre if attending a morning kindergarten program.

8:15 - 8:45     Circle time

8:45 – 9:00     Clean up. Wash Hands. Bathroom Time.

9:00 - 9:45     Circle Time, Songs, Story Time, Flannel Board,Table Top Activities, Puzzle, Books, Learning Centers, Invitations and Activities.

9:45 – 10:30    LPB Innovative Program for afternoon group (please see schedule for specific activity each day)

10:30 – 11:15  Outdoor activities, walk, community excursion (weather permitting) and/or alternative programming, including learning centres.

11:15 – 11:30  Clean up.  Wash hands.  Bathroom time.

11:30 – 12:15  Lunch time. Morning kindergarten children arrive back at centre. Afternoon kindergarten children will depart the centre around 12:00.

12:15 – 12:30  Clean up.  Wash hands.  Bathroom time.

12:30 – 12:45  Story time.

12:45 – 2:30    Quiet time/ nap time.  Table top activities, puzzles or outdoor play (weather permitting)

2:30 – 2:45      Brain break.

2:45 – 3:00      Wash hands. Bathroom time.

3:00 – 3:30      Snack time. Afternoon kindergarten and OSC children will arrive back at the centre.

3:30 – 3:45      Clean up.  Bathroom time.

3:45 – 4:30     LPB Innovative Program for morning group (please see schedule for specific activity each day)

                       Cooperative Learning Groups (ex. Writing, creative arts, computers, academic games, reading, math, etc.).

4:30 – 5:00      Homework

5:00 – 6:30      Free Play. Activities. Outdoor Activities (Weather Permitting) or indoor activities

6:30                 CENTRE CLOSED

 

***When children have early dismissal or days off school – they will follow the Kindergarten full day routine***

Senior Pre-school (3.5 to 6 years)

  • $955.00

     

    • Encouraging and fostering healthy peer interactions through conversations, play and games.
    • Continuing and expanding school learning concepts within the centre.
    • Consult the children to form program plans, room expectations and room routines.
    • Excursions within the community.
    • Developing a sense of self and place in the community.
